While his DJ prowess may still be somewhat unknown, Sander Baan has
already influenced the dance world by co-founding Phonocult Records, a
label which boasts releases by such artists as Guido Schneider, Barem,
Seph, and Bruno Pronsato. His new label, Feeling High Records, will focus
on releasing tracks by new talented artists producing that sexy sound
Sander will soon be known for.
In a few months, when his reputation matches his skill, Sander Baan’s
name will elicit the same delighted response from club-goers as the
present selector heavyweights. Baan has been patiently honing his skills
behind the decks and developing his own uniquely versatile blend of sexy
stripped-down house and techno. His fluid style is perfectly suited for
warming up a crowd, dominating the floor at peak-time, and keeping the
dancers moving into the early morning afterhours. Even though his name
may not yet make your knees tremble with prospective dancing
excitement, give him a good listen. A new name may soon top your 'best-
of list.
